Enio Iommi

Enio Iommi (Rosario, 1926 – San Justo, 2013) began his career as a sculptor in 1945 / 1946. He was associated to the Movimiento Arte Concreto Invención, but then his career took another direction, combining a distinct and genuine artistic personality. Iommi seeks through his work, to note the depersonalization, the possibilities of technology and the limits of rationality. His art answers rather than to actions, to an essential grasp of reality. The use of materials that come from contemporary industrial civilization makes the realization of his works an expression of daring creativity and experienced management of the materials used.
